Walid Regragui resigns as Morocco head coach. Manager Walid Regragui has reportedly resigned from his role as head coach of the Moroccan national team ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
Reasons for the coaches resignation is not clear yet as we await an Official Statement from the Moroccan Football Authority.
Recall that Morocco lost the recent AFCON Finals to Senegal under very controversial circumstances. We hope for the best and wish Walid a very successful career ahead. One wonders what could become of the Atlas Lions and who could fill the shoes of this amazing team’s Manager roles.
