These are the Most Visited African Countries By International Tourists

Most people who say they want to visit Africa mean they want to go on safari. A small number mean the pyramids.

Almost none of them can tell you much about where they would go in #Ghana, or why Rwanda has quietly become one of the most discussed destinations on the continent.

The #tourism map of Africa is heavily concentrated, and this chart shows exactly where.

Morocco leads with 17.4 million visitors. #Egypt follows at 15.7 million. #Tunisia at 10.25 million.

Three North African countries accounting for the overwhelming majority of the continent’s international arrivals.
