Nigeria Beats Benin 4-0 to Qualify for WC Playoff

The Nigerian Super Eagles today defeated Benin Republic by four goals to nil to stand a chance in the World Cup Playoff for African Teams who finished as best runner-ups in their respective groups. It must be stated that just one team makes it through in the proposed playoff as all eligible teams will be grouped in a knock-out format similar to a semi-finals and then a finals between the best two.

Many wondered why it took the Super Eagles this long to find their rythm as the team exhibited a brilliant performance earlier today with striker Victor Oshimen scoring a hat-trick while Frank Onyeka finished off with a decisive goal just before the game ended.
