Business Insider: Adidas is considering Egyptian billionaire Nassef Sawiris to replace Thomas Rabe as its chairman.

Sawiris is a major stakeholder in Adidas, deputy chairman since 2025, and holds a 7% stake via NNS Group.

He also has significant interests in global sports, including Madison Square Garden Sports and Aston Villa FC.

The company’s 2026 profit outlook has raised investor concerns, impacted by global economic conditions and regional conflicts.
